TAM more Sao- Miami.
As of 12 November 2012, TAM will operate the current flights on the route São Paulo/Guarulhos – Miami with a new Boeing 777-300 aircraft, which will be delivered in the second semester to TAM by the North American manufacturer.
The flights JJ8095 and JJ8091, which depart every day from Miami Airport (USA) at 11:00 am and 8:15 pm, and the flights JJ8094 and JJ8090, departing daily from Guarulhos Airport in São Paulo (Brazil), at 10:30 am and 11:55 pm (local time), respectively, will be operated by the Boeing 777 (instead of the current Airbus 330). In addition to offering more space for passengers and cargo, the new aircraft will also help to maintain the low average age of TAM’s fleet.
With this aircraft change, the number of seats offered on each flight will increase from 223 to 362, representing an increase of 62% over the current offer. The engines that will be used on the new B777s will be announced later in the year. TAM already flies the Boeing 777s on the routes between São Paulo and London, Frankfurt, and Santiago.
